Dr. Khattak is originally from Pakistan and moved to United States in her teen years. She returned to Pakistan for medical school and graduated from Shifa College of Medicine, Islamabad Pakistan in 2004. While attending medical School, she became engaged Dr Haris Zafarullah. After marriage, they moved to Memphis, TN. Dr. Khattak completed her Internal Medicine Internship from University of Tennessee in June 2009 and Hematology and Oncology Fellowship training at University of Tennessee in partnership with The West Clinic in June 2012. During the course of her training, she was actively involved in clinical research with solid tumor malignancies. She is now following her dream to pursue a career in private practice. Her primary interest is breast cancer. She feels immense pleasure and pride in being able to be a part of her patients’ lives, helping them cope with and heal from cancer.

She is a proud mother of two girls. Her husband currently resides in Valhalla, New York where he is pursuing a one year training program in Interventional Cardiology.
