The West Clinic welcomed Dr. Seth Kaufman in 2002. As a specialist in pain and palliative care, Dr. Kaufman holds the unique distinction of being board certified by the American Board of Pain Medicine, American Board of Hospice and Palliative Medicine, the American Board of Anesthesiology and the American Board of Addictive Medicine.

Dr. Kaufman graduated Magna Cum Laude from Yeshiva University, New York, NY. He attended medical school at Jewish General Hospital, McGill University, Montreal, Canada where he also went on to complete a family practice internship. Dr. Kaufman completed his residency at Long Island Jewish Hospital, New York and achieved his clinical fellowship in Anesthesiology at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center, New York.

Throughout his academic career and advanced training, Dr. Kaufman has received numerous honors and awards and held positions of leadership in the community and charitable organizations of excellence.
