George Yaghmour, DO

Dr. Yaghmour is originally from Aleppo City in Syria, after graduation in 2008 with a medical degree from Aleppo University School of Medicine he joined LSUHSC in Shreveport, Louisiana, and obtained an internship certificate in pediatrics in 2010. He completed his Internal Medicine residency with the Wayne State University, Henry Ford Hospital program in Detroit, Michigan.  He is currently obtaining his fellowship certificate in the Hematology and Oncology with the University of Tennessee, anticipated graduation in June of 2016.

Dr. Yaghmour spends his free time with his twin brother who is a pulmonary and critical care fellow with the University of Tennessee. He enjoys playing guitar and harmonica, and goes hiking. He loves all the aspects of the oncology field; he is excited to join the UT/West Clinic Fellowship Program. He brings his dedication, his passion for the field, as well as his great willingness to work hard for his patients.  Dr. Yaghmour is fluent in English, French and Arabic.
